ePMRx is a Windows based pharmacy labelling and patient medication record system. Available as a single or multi user instance, running on PC workstations and connecting to a Microsoft SQL server database. Version also available for Educational Institutions.

PHARMACY LABELLING:

Standard features of labels generated by ePMRx:

• The identity of the medicine
• The identity of the patient
• Directions for use
• Any necessary cautionary or advisory warnings

Additional features of ePMRx:

• Checks for drug interactions based on "Stockley’s Interactions" database.
• Allows selection of cautionary and advisory labels.
• Includes the option to print bilingual labels (e.g. English + Arabic).

PATIENT MEDICATION RECORDS:

The ePMRx system, while generating the label, creates a patient medication record (PMR) or references an existing record.
The advantages of having PMRs within the pharmacy include:

• Improves the service that the patient receives.
• Enables reference to medical history for drug interactions.
• Encourages patient loyalty to the pharmacy.
