VIEW ALL PATIENTS:
Select from the menu at the top of the screen;
View –All Patients.
A list will appear on the right of the screen in the green ‘Patients’ tab page.
SEARCH FOR A PARTICULAR PATIENT:
Begin typing the patient’s SURNAME in the ‘Patient’ textbox on the left of the screen.
A list will appear on the right of the screen in the ‘Patients’ page.
(To narrow down your search you can type the patient’s surname (or part of it) followed by a space and
the patient’s first name.)
If the patient you are searching for is not currently on your database you will be see the following
message:
‘No records available for this name. Do you want to add new patient now?’
Click NO if you don’t want to or YES to add a new patient.
ADD NEW PATIENT:
If not already on the Add New Patient screen – either select from the menu at the top of the screen;
Add - New Patient
OR click the red tab ‘Patient.
Fill in all the details in the relevant boxes for the new patient.
If the doctor you require is not available in the drop down list of doctors – click on the red tab ‘Doctors’
on the left of the form and add a new doctor *see Add new doctor for details.
When happy with entered patient details click on the Save New Patient button at the bottom of the form,
or click the Cancel New Patient button to clear the form.
On saving your new patient the form will close and your patient will appear in the ‘Patients’ page.
Double-click on the patient to show all their details at the bottom of the screen.
EDIT PATIENT DETAILS:
To edit a patient’s details - double-click on the patient in the ‘Patients’ list and make any necessary
changes at the bottom of the screen to their name, address, doctor, conditions etc.
To save any changes either, go to;
File – Save Patient Details
OR leave the current screen you are in and click on the yes button when asked if you want to save changes.
DELETE PATIENT:
To delete a patient from your database select them from the Patients list – right-click and choose
‘Delete patient’.
